I live in Toronto, Canada. I’m a city girl, though I was born in Mississauga which is just on the edge of Toronto. I’ve got this long name... Earlecroft Dunluce Ear Talk, but “Da bosses” call me Dusty. They say they’re gonna dust the floor with me when my coat gets long. One of “Da bosses” favourite singers was Dusty Springfield so that may have had some influence on the name. I’ve got the big brown eyes and long eyelashes but I don’t wear nearly as much mascara as the human Dusty used to... yet!

As you’ll see in the pictures of moi... I’m a curly little monster as “Da boss” calls me. That’s ‘cuz I come from a 100% Irish background which is a bit more curly than my North American cousins. My Mum had loads of curls and my Aunty Jolijne says I’m probably going to be as lovely as she is. My Mums name is Earlcroft’s Ballytruckle Green, but we call her Judy. She lives with her human Ann Holahan in Caledon Village, Ontario. My Dad’s name is Hibernian Hero v.d. Keienhorst, but we call him Buddy. He lives in the Netherlands. My Mum went all the way to the Netherlands to meet him...(wink, wink... nudge, nudge!)

My human aunties are really trying to help get rid of that rotten disease we Wheatens are susceptible to, PLE/PLN. That’s why they sent my Mum to meet my Dad in the Netherlands — where it’s not so prevalent. Consequently, if I turn out to be a good-looking dog, (I think I’m gorgious already!) and I show no signs of illness, I may have a litter when I’m a little older.

I was born on December 8th 2000. I gave my human aunty quite a scare when I was young as I stopped breathing! But she blew into my nose and after a few moments I started breathing on my own again. I was checked out by “Da vet” and it doesn’t seem to have marred my marvelous personality! (I’m a bit vain... as you may have discovered!)
